Forest Fables – Funnybones – 10am-11.30am SOLD OUT

Age: Recommended 4-10 years
Event Description: Read the popular timeless storybook Funnybones by Janet and Allan Ahlberg and join in super fun activities related to the story. Sticks make bones don't they? I wonder if you can make a stick skeleton plus more spooky crafts.
There will be the opportunity to play in our free play area after the activities have finished. You can play on the swing, hammocks, mud kitchen and obstacle course.
Event Info: All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Adults attend free but please pay for all children taking part in the event.
Please dress for the weather on the day and forest environment, paths are forest paths but suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, paths may be muddy,
Please report to the Forest Explorers classroom behind TRACS cycle hire at the Linmere visitor centre with your ticket.
Please arrive promptly so the event can start on time.
This event will take place in all weathers except high winds.
All events are non-refundable so please ensure your can attend. If cancelled by Forest Explorers a full refund will be given.

Parking: Car parking charges apply however we recommend purchasing an annual parking pass if you visit the forest regularly.
Car parks are extremely busy during school holidays, please arrive in good time to park and arrive at the event before it starts.
You may need to show your event ticket to Forestry England staff in the car park at busy times. If car parks at Old Pale and the visitor centre are full you may need to park at the field overflow car park or Whitefield car park and walk so please bear this in mind if bringing small children.
