Event Description: This event is for home educated children and their families only.

Join us to learn how to survive in the depths of winter in a fun way!
We will test your knowledge on staying warm and safe outdoors and teach you how to build a warm, dry shelter, how to light a fire and how to make a hot drink. You will also learn how to find North so you can find your way home. We will cook some tasty food on the fire to finish off!
Please bring a packed lunch.

Event Info: This event is for home educated families only. Please do not book a ticket if you do not have a child who is home educated.
Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day and the forest environment.
This event starts at our education classroom located behind TRACS cycle hire.
All events are non-refundable and go ahead in all weathers except when the Forestry Commission close the forest due to high winds. If this is the case a full refund will be given.
