Event Description: Pirates in the forest!
We will make swords and flags in our heated classroom before heading out in to the forest to play a run around game followed by lots of free play.
Free play is great fun and a great way to learn, be creative and express ourselves, we will have hammocks, swing, obstacle course and the mud kitchen! Perhaps you could cook up a feast for pirate!
Event Info: All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Adults attend free but please pay for all children taking part in the event.
Please dress for the weather on the day and forest environment, paths are forest paths but suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, paths may be muddy,
This event will take place in all weathers except high winds.
All events are non-refundable unless cancelled by Forest Explorers in which case a full refund will be given.
Booking is essential.
Includes 20p booking fee.
Parking: Car parking will be busy during half term.
Car parking charges apply.
Please show your event ticket to Forestry England staff in the car park at busy times, if car parks at Old Pale and the visitor centre are full you may need to park at Whitefield car park which is across the road and a 15 minute walk so please bear this in mind if bringing small children.
Please report to the Forest Explorers classroom behind TRACS cycle hire at the Linmere visitor centre with your ticket.
Please arrive in good time to find a parking space and get to the event for 12.30pm so we can start on time.
If you are running late, unfortunately we are unable to wait around for you as there is only 1 ranger running the event however we are just across the field down in the forest area if you would like to come down and find us.
