Age: 5 years plus

Event Description: An extremely popular event! Join us to carve your pumpkins for Halloween this year and make a witches broom from forest materials. We will finish toasting marshmallows on the fire!

Event Info: Small pumpkins and all materials are provided. Take home your carved pumpkin and your broomstick.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note children may need help with preparing their pumpkin and with the carving. Tickets are required for participating children only.

Pumpkin carving will take place indoors in our classroom, broomstick making will be outdoors so please come prepared for the outdoors.

Please meet at the education classroom which is located behind TRACS cycle hire.

This event will take place in all weathers except high winds.
All events are non-refundable so please ensure your can attend. If cancelled by Forest Explorers a full refund will be given.
Booking is essential.
Includes 20p booking fee.

Parking: Car parking charges apply however we recommend purchasing an annual parking pass if you visit the forest regularly.

Car parks are extremely busy during school holidays, please arrive in good time to park and arrive at the event before it starts.
You may need to show your event ticket to Forestry England staff in the car park at busy times. If car parks at Old Pale and the visitor centre are full you may need to park at the field overflow car park or Whitefield car park and walk so please bear this in mind.
