Home Education

Do you home educate your child?  We offer one off events on a variety of forest related topics, and also a regular monthly Home Education group.

Home Education Events

The events we run are as advertised on our events page. Topics such as Tree days, Vikings, Stone Age, Bushcraft, Stay and Play, Wildcraft Adventure game, Wildlife & Survival, Woodcraft, Navigation, Pewter casting, Natural Art, Over 11s only and more!

If you miss an event you particularly want to experience , please ask us if we can run it again. We are very flexible. Similarly, if there is something you wish to learn about, please ask if we can design an event.

Monthly Home Education Club

This Monday group is currently fully subscribed, however there are places available on the Tuesday group.  Please contact us if you wish to be added to the Monday waiting list.

We meet once a month on approximately the 3rd Monday and Tuesday of the month (subject to availability.) We enjoy learning about nature and the forest and we cover all of the above Home education one off events. The children meet each other on a regular basis so strong friendships are formed. Sometimes our group ask us to repeat something they particularly enjoyed or cover something new and we can be very flexible!

We ask that you book and pay for all children on our website event listing for this group. An event will be raised for each session with a brief description of the activities. We ask that you pay even if you know you can’t attend a meeting in order to keep your place, or your place will offered to someone on our waiting list.
